Quadrums Percussion Performance: The name stands for the unique musical interaction between four percussionists - four classical percussionists who have specialized in different fields since their music degree.

Quadrums Percussion Performance: the four members of the group are Christof Estermann, Raphael Christen, Thomas Limacher, and Hans Patrick Surek. In Switzerland they all are well known as performers of congas, marimbaphon and latin percussion and other instruments. After studies and masterclasses in Switzerland, Japan, USA, Cuba and Germany they work as soloists, in orchestras and as percussion teachers in Switzerland, Germany and France. Four outstanding musicians, one brilliant quartet.

The quartet was founded in 1999. It concentrates on music that ranges from jazz and world music to contemporary percussion music. Therefore, Quadrums don’t only use the classical orchestra instruments, they also include traditional percussion instruments from other cultures in their performance.

"A message of rhythm and sounds, that can be understood without words" says the critic in the Neue Mittelland Zeitung. The quartet impresses with breathtaking virtuosity and new sounds, that have never been heard before.

2001 Quadrums Percussion Performance were honored with the prize "Pro Argovia Artists" and 2009 with the "Förderpreis" of the canton Zug.
AAt present Quadrums can be seen and heard with their program from the Asia Tour 2009 with composed works from Carl Rütti and Pascal Galeone.
